What Consultations Look Like Here at CARE

Here at CARE Plastic Surgery, before receiving treatment, you will have an initial consultation with one of our expert providers. Our consultation process allows you to have a one-on-one conversation with your provider to discuss your specific aesthetic goals and desired results. During this time, an optimal treatment plan will be created specifically for you, that is designed to address your areas of interest with our expert providers’ recommendations.

Whether you are interested in surgery with double board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Coan or are looking to be treated in the Med Spa by our expert nurse injectors or aestheticians, a consultation is the first step in your aesthetic journey here at CARE! Follow along below for a step-by-step guide to the various consultations we offer here at CARE:

Surgical Consultation Process:

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry

If you are interested in cosmetic surgery with Dr. Coan, fill out our inquiry form or give our office a call at 919-680-1576.

Step 2: Talk to Us

After expressing your initial interest in surgery, a surgical coordinator will reach out to you within 24 hours of your inquiry.

Step 3: Upload photos to Touch MD

Upload your photos to our HIPPA-Compliant portal for Dr. Coan to make appropriate recommendations.

Step 4: Receive Recommendations and Schedule an Appointment

Once Dr. Coan has provided recommendations, your surgical coordinator will reach out to you to relay this information.

Step 5: Consult with Dr. Coan

Next, an in-person consultation with Dr. Coan will take place. This is a great opportunity to address any desires or concerns you have regarding surgery. You will also discuss any underlying medical conditions you have and treatment goals to help you determine whether you might be a good candidate. You and Dr. Coan will come up with a treatment plan to ensure you will be comfortable and satisfied throughout the process.

Step 6: Book your Surgery Date

Reserving a surgery date is the final step in the surgical consultation process. Once your surgery date is booked, you are ready to go!

CoolSculpting Consultation Process:

Step 1: Express Interest

Whether you found CARE through a CoolEvent, Coolsculpting.com, from a friend, or through your own inquiry, we are here to help you set up your consultation appointment!

Step 2: Book a Consultation

Once your interest form has been sent, a member of our CoolSculpting team will contact you to get you scheduled for a consultation.

Step 3: Consult with the CoolSculpting Team

During your consultation, you will discuss with the CoolSculpting team any concerns you may have and what areas you are looking to address. This is a time for our team to determine if you are a candidate for CoolSculpting and how they can help you achieve your aesthetic goals!

Step 4: Schedule Your Appointment

Following your consultation, we will set up an appointment for you to begin receiving treatment based off of the plan you created with our CoolSculpting team.

Step 5: Receive Treatment!

All that is left is for you to begin receiving treatment and achieving results!

MedSpa Consultation Process:

Step 1: Inquire

If you are interested in receiving non-surgical cosmetic procedures in our MedSpa, contact someone from our Front Desk team by calling 919-680-1576, or fill out an inquiry form online!

Step 2: Get Scheduled for Consultation

Once you have touched base with someone from our concierge team, they will assist you in setting up a consultation appointment. This appointment is a great opportunity to discuss any skin concerns you may have.

Step 3: Complete Consent Forms

Before coming in for your consultation, it is important to complete all consent forms. These forms educate our nurses and aestheticians on any background medical history that may affect your treatment.

Step 4: Receive VISIA Skin Analysis

The VISIA Skin Analysis gives our providers insight as to what your skincare journey may entail.

Step 5: Create Optimal Treatment Plan

Once you have your comprehensive scans, our providers will be able to create an optimal treatment plan based on your personalized skincare needs. Whether your skincare journey includes injectables, laser treatments, or skincare products, you will work together to create a tailored course of action!

Step 6: Receive Quotes

After setting up your treatment plan, you will receive quotes. Pricing will vary with member and non-member status. Our nurses and aestheticians will discuss with you the benefits associated with our skinCARE Club Membership, and how it can affect your treatment plan.

Step 7: Begin the Treatment Process

Following your consultation, the treatment process will begin, and you will be on the road to brighter, healthier skin!
